Alaska Airlines announced it will add a nonstop daily flight between Kahului, Maui and San Diego, California starting October 1, 2010. Alaska Airlines scheduled more than a dozen routes to Hawaii from Anchorage and West Coast cities including Seattle and San Jose, California, in the past two-and-a-half years. Hawaiian Airlines has announced that it is moving up the start date for its new, nonstop daily flight this summer between Oakland and Maui.
